Every trader is different, and that’s why there can be successful traders using different methods and systems of trading.

The key is to find that system that works for you, and that fits your lifestyle and what you want as a trader.

You may want to be a day trader because you’re not comfortable holding positions overnight. Swing traders may prefer to take the 3 - 5 day swings, holding positions overnight but not holding through the ups and downs of a long term trader.

There really is no one way of making money from trading, because there are successful traders who succeed using different methods, strategies and systems.

The truth about trading is that in the beginning of your trading journey, it’s about finding out more about yourself. That’s why risk management is so vital, and trading small until you are comfortable AND successful with your trading style.

We all come from different backgrounds, have different risk tolerances, different amounts of money that we can risk trading in the markets.

How can one trading system fit all?

Sometimes, it may not be that the system or course that you have purchased doesn’t work. It could just be that you’re not suited for that particular system, and/or the system happens to be going through its drawdown phase.

One of the key success factors in trading is really having patience. Patience to understand yourself, learn the game, and trade using a system you’re comfortable and successful with.

Although I may share several trading courses and systems over a period of time, you don’t have to buy them if you’re already successful. But even then, you’ll notice that successful traders tend to continue their studies and do their best to learn as much as they can about their craft.

So be patient with yourself, and learn as much as you can about trading. Learn the basic foundations of a successful trader, and then find or fine-tune your trading system until you become successful at your craft. Because trading is a skill and requires a specific mindset to be successful.

You can be a successful trader, but it doesn’t come overnight.
